Firm Background and History
The Firm of Oehlke CPA, PLLC has represented a longstanding history of client service in South Texas for over forty years. The Firm began in 1969 when Terry A. Zurovec, CPA built his practice from ground up in Seguin, Texas. Over the years he nurtured the CPA firm's reputation of honesty and integrity. In 2010, Brandon J. Oehlke, CPA, acquired Mr. Zurovec’s firm and staff. In 2011, the Firm broadened, acquiring McClanahan’s Inc., an accounting firm formerly based out of Adkins, Texas. Through this acquisition, the Firm expanded its staff of professionals further enhancing the already high level of service. We at Oehlke CPA, PLLC are committed to maintaining our predecessors’ reputation and integrity while adding our knowledge and integrating the latest technologies in the service of our clients.

Oehlke CPA, PLLC participates in the Quality/Peer Review Program administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This is a process designed to improve the quality of accounting firms through reviews of their accounting services. A key element of our quality control is our attention to education. Through Continuing Professional Education and ongoing tax research we work to maintain the latest knowledge in a world of constant change. Our staff has over 77 years of cumulative accounting and tax experience in a wide array of industries, including non-profit and exempt organizations.
